Events
I run regular workshops and events throughout the year that are designed to help you relax, unwind and escape from the business of every day life.
The Prenatal Chill: A Pregnancy Retreat With Community, Nourishment & Relaxation at Heart
Sunday 18th May, 11am-4pm
The Wee Retreat, 2 Myrtle Park, Glasgow, G42 8UQ
What is The Prenatal Chill?
The Prenatal Chill provides the ultimate blend of relaxation, connection and nourishment, thoughtfully curated and hosted for you and your baby by friends, Fiona Corr-Macleod: Yoga and Doula Support and Natalie Ventilla: Zen Health.
Due to the wonderful feedback that we received from our previous events, we are extending our offering to a full day retreat and providing a delicious and nourishing lunch from a local café. Equally providing generous time for each of the practices and space in between for integration and time to connect with other pregnant people. The opportunity to connect and bond with other expectant Mums was an element of previous retreats that our attendees felt was particularly special, and we couldn’t agree more.
We can’t wait to host this special retreat again, and are delighted to welcome a very special, guest, Clare Maclean of Only Human UK who will host her signature, guided facial workshop using Acupressure, Reflexology and Gua-Sha techniques.
Who are your retreat hosts?
Fiona Corr-MacLeod
Fiona is a Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher and Doula based in Glasgow. She loves sharing yoga with people on their journey through matrescence, to help them find more balance in body and mind, while sharing the tools they need to feel empowered and confident through birth and motherhood.
As a mum of two, she knows the value of feeling seen and heard in a supportive community, and loves to bring groups of women together in circle to share practices that enhance mental and physical wellbeing. Through her work as a postnatal doula, she nurtures new mothers, enabling them to focus on healing and connecting to their beautiful babies.
Natalie Ventilla
Natalie is an Acupressure and Shiatsu Massage Therapist, and Sound Bath Facilitator dedicated to supporting her clients through all stages of life. Providing specialist pregnancy and postpartum care, she offers treatments from her clinic, promoting deep relaxation, replenishment, and relief from pain and tension. Her treatments are designed to nurture both mother and baby—preparing and supporting through conception, pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
She is committed to offering the care, connection, and support she wishes had been available to her during this profound and often vulnerable time—helping Mums feel truly seen, supported, and deeply nurtured.
Clare Maclean
Clare is the founder of Only Human, a brand born from her personal search for a holistic, natural way to age well and with confidence.
Clare’s popular, guided, facial workshops offer gentle, techniques like Gua Sha, Reflexology, and Acupressure. Techniques which are particularly useful in pregnancy to relieve tension, reduce puffiness, and promote relaxation. Simple yet effective ways to promote better circulation, ease discomfort, and practice self-care.

The Postnatal Pause: A retreat for mothers
Sunday 6th April, 1-4pm
The Luna Centre, 8 St James Avenue, East Kilbride, G74 5QD
Introducing a postpartum afternoon retreat jointly curated by Fiona Corr-MacLeod and Annie Perry, both pre and postnatal yoga teachers and doulas. This retreat is for mothers, either in the first months of postpartum or further down the line, offering a space to be held and nourished through movement, nutrition, touch and connection. Our hope is that you leave feeling restored and calm, benefiting you and those around you.
What to expect
A gentle and restorative yoga practice (suitable from any time beyond 8 weeks postpartum), helping to relieve tension in the body and still the mind.
A women’s circle for those who wish to share their birth stories (others may choose to simply listen). Talking about experiences of pregnancy, birth and motherhood (positive and negative) can be incredibly cathartic and healing, and we often gain solace in the realisation that we are not alone.
We will explore the wonders of traditional postpartum care to promote healing, including belly binding for the immediate postpartum and for the return of menses, self-reflexology, acupressure and moxibustion.
Each person will receive a mini closing of the bones ceremony - wrapping the pelvis with scarves to symbolise closing over this portal for new life and welcoming you into motherhood. Being wrapped in scarves can feel deeply comforting, especially considering how much time we might feel like we’re holding ourselves and our families together – this is your chance to be held.
We will provide homemade snacks and refreshments.
Babes in arms welcome, or babes “dropping in and out to feed delivered by other care givers” also welcome, or just Mum and no babes at all also welcome.
